Wow, that's close. Is your home in the path? Just wanted you to know that in my department here at 3ABN we've been praying for those affected by these fires. Keep us updated!
Yeah...it's close...but once the fire reached the outskirts of more roads and civilization, they got it back in control. It was across the valley and up in the brush on the mountainside and a few hundred thousand people from us though, so it would have had to burn the whole valley up before it got over here to Loma Linda. None the less, many have lost their homes. It's pretty sad. Lots of loss here...but we're still safe and sheltered. Thanks for the prayers!
Glad to hear everything is under control. It seems many people in your part of the country know someone who lost something or came close to losing something to the fires. Hopefully this will be an opportunity for the church to reach out and show itself a channel of blessing to the communities.
